Title: Is an email vacation auto-reply program available?

Question:
How can I set up automatic replies to email messages that are delivered to
my UW email Inbox?

Answer:
The UW vacation auto-reply service can be used to automatically send a
reply in response to email you receive when you are on vacation, after
you've left your University position, or whenever you are otherwise unable
to read your email. This way you can inform correspondents of
your absence and let them know when they can expect to hear back from you.

The vacation auto-reply is available for those who have mail delivered to a
UW email Inbox on the Homer, Dante or Aagaard computers, also
known as the "deskmail" servers, or to a MyUW.net account. You may set up
and manage the service from the Web.

To set up or cancel your vacation auto-reply email from the Web go to:

     https://uwnetid.washington.edu/

Log in with your UWNetID when prompted. Then, from the options listed in
the "Your UW NetID Settings" section, choose the "Manage your email
delivery" link. (If you have both a UW and a MyUW.net account, you will
see separate links for each account.) This link will take you to
the Email Delivery Manager where you'll find the Vacation service listed.
Choose the "Configure" option.

If you encounter problems please end email to help@cac.washington.edu.
