Title: What should I do if the EDM thinks I'm someone else? Question: When I try to use the Email Delivery Manager to set up email filters or vacation service, it seems to think I'm someone else. The Web page says Email Delivery Manager ... For XXXXX, where "XXXXX" is not my UW NetID. What's wrong and how do I fix this? Answer: The problem is that you have accessed another person's Email Delivery services. That can happen if someone using the computer before you did not log out of the UW NetID "weblogin" service, in which case the Web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape) has stored his/her identity, and the EDM is using it instead of yours. The solution is simple: completely exit your Web browser. This will log out the previous user. Then restart the browser and return to the EDM service. Now your services should be displayed.
