C160: Sophos Endpoint Security and Control

Description:

This course will offer training on installation, configuration, and use of the Sophos Anti-Virus solution, especially the Management Console.

This is a technical course, and is recommended for those who will be managing the installation of Sophos Anti-Virus for their units. You will find a course outline, with estimated times, below. The course will be taught by a representative from Sophos Professional Services.
The course will be taught over two days, in two four-hour sessions. We will be able to offer two "sections" of the course, a morning section and an afternoon section. Note that each student will be in class for EITHER two consecutive mornings, or two afternoons. Having two sections should allow you to pick a time of day that works better for you and to continue to cover ongoing operations by sending part of your staff to each section. Course content in each section will be identical.

The class will be taught in a lecture/demonstration format. There will be substantial time for questions, but this will NOT be a "lab" class with "hands on" time IN class. Another advantage of the two-day format is that it will give you time between the two sessions to digest what you've seen, attempt what you've seen demonstrated, and come to the second session with questions prepared. Registration will be limited to approximately 30 students per section.

**Registration will end on November 25, or earlier if the class sections fill up.**
