R880: Introduction to Adobe® Illustrator®

Description:
In this course, you'll start by drawing and manipulating simple shapes to create logos. You'll also combine text and graphics to create advertisements.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Create a logo using simple shapes
  • Create logos using custom paths
  • Create a logo with type effects
  • Create an advertisement that combines text and imported graphics
  • Add body type to a document

    Prerequisite:
    Before taking this course, you should have a basic understanding of your computer's operating system. For example, you should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CD and other media.

    Course Fee:
    $162 staff, alumni and faculty, $81 students
