Software for current Oracle Calendar Account Holders
Oracle Calendar is a group scheduling software managed by UW Technology. Staff and departments who have Nebula-supported hardware automatically get Oracle Calendar on their desktops. For further information about using Oracle, send email to oraclecal@u.washington.edu.
If you have an account on the UW Technology managed Oracle Calendar server, you may access your calendar on the Web at: http://calendar.cac.washington.edu.
Oracle account holders using the UW Technology Blackberry service will get automatic wireless syncing between their Blackberry and their calendar. For more information on the UW Technology Blackberry service see our Smartphone website.

* For Treo 650 Users - You may need to update the firmware on your device for Oracle Sync to work properly - You can download the updater from here.
** Oracle Sync will not work with Active Sync v4.0 and above (shipped with new Dell Axiom and Treo 700). Oracle is working to fix this problem.

- A simple read only view of your calendar at https://calendar.cac.washington.edu/quickcal/. Note: Requires Weblogin compatible browser and can only show the authenticated user's calendar.

Client Setup Instructions
After installing the desktop client software from one of the links above, you will need to add the server settings:
- Open the Oracle Calendar client.
- Click on "Other" - "New"
- In the "Connection Name" box, type: UW
- In the "Server" box, type: ctime.cac.washington.edu
- Click the "Lookup" button, select "Configure at login from user name" and then click on "Configure"
- Click OK once. In the "Connection Manager" window, click UW once to select it, then click the "Make Default" button. click OK.
- Now you can log into Oracle Calendar with your NetID and Oracle password.

For "Offline Password" errors:
- Close Oracle Calendar client,
- Perform a search for "xtmlocal.dat" and then delete it,
- Reopen the client.
Training is available through UW's Computer Training. If no regularly scheduled classes are listed, custom training may be requested through the UW Computer Training website.
Note: Oracle Calendar is unavailable during scheduled monthly maintenance times: currently that is the first Thursday of every month from 6 - 9pm. Outages at any other time will be reported on the Nebula homepage.
