Tiger Advantage Drawings: Brain Drawing

The Brain Drawing was one of the most challenging drawings completed so far. The image took some time to finish because all of the lines in the drawings are curved. CorelDRAW was used to create the final print product.

The first step was to scan the image in Adobe Photoshop and then import it to CorelDRAW. Then it was resized it to fit the working page.

A useful tool in completing the drawing was the freehand tool. The freehand tool provides the capability to draw freehanded over an image. The original image was divided into sections and then the freehand tool was used the image. Then by double clicking on the line, the curve and the length of the line can be changed. This was a very long process because small sections were worked on at a time and effort was made to match the background image.

When outlining was complete, the scanned image was deleted from the background. Then additional elements were added to the picture such as text as well as thickness to the main lines and curves. The most challenging part of working with such an image is deciding what to add or leave out of the drawing.
