ATL Quickstart: ReadPlease

ReadPlease is a free, easy to use text reader for Windows.

Starting ReadPlease

1. Click on the Start Button on the Windows task bar at the bottom of the screen.
2. Click on the AT Applications folder.
3. Click on the ReadPlease icon.

(You can also press <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <R>)

Using ReadPlease

1. Select the text to be read
2. Copy it to the clipboard
3. Start ReadPlease
4. Paste the text into the ReadPlease window
5. Press the green "Play" button

The basic functions of ReadPlease can be accessed by right clicking on its icon on the task bar (located next to the clock).

Quitting ReadPlease

Click on the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the ReadPlease window or select Exit from the File menu.
