This document summarizes the resources in the Access Technology Lab that provide access to computing for students, faculty, and staff with disabilities.

About the Access Technology Lab
The ATL provides students, faculty, and staff with disabilities with access to campus computing resources, specialized equipment and software, staff assistance, and training. The Access Technology Lab is located in the Mary Gates Hall Computing Resource Center (CRC), and is wheelchair accessible. The following services are available in the Access Technology Lab:- Access to equipment and software for users with mobility/orthopedic, visual, learning, or hearing impairments. - Staff are available to provide assistance to lab visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The lab is open during the same hours the Computing Resource Center (CRC) is open.
- Windows and Apple computers, software, peripherals, and training materials.
- Laser and color printing are available for a charge using the UW Husky Card. Current pricing can be found at the EPLT printing information.
- A Braille embosser capable of single- or double-sided Braille, and software that translates electronic text into Braille. Materials in standard print can be scanned with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software.
