UWTV is the University of Washington's award-winning television channel offering programs that are original, non-commercial, and educational - and broadcasting them 24 hours a day, seven days a week. UWTV is available to more than 9.5 million homes, businesses, and institutions throughout Washington and across the country on cable and on the DISH Network direct satellite system. UWTV is also streamed live on the Internet and many of its programs are offered "on demand."
ResearchChannel is a consortium of leading research institutions and organizations dedicated to broadening the access to and appreciation of their individual and collective activities, ideas, and opportunities in basic and applied research. ResearchChannel is available to more than 12 million homes, businesses, and institutions on the DISH Network direct satellite system and on cable. All ResearchChannel programs are offered as on demand streaming video and the channel is streamed live on the Internet.

uw2.tv reaches metropolitan Seattle/Tacoma on cable. Students living on the University of Washington campus also receive uw2.tv on the campus cable system.
