UW Commuter Guru Program is One Year Old and Growing
Gurus know where to find the information to inform smart commute choices
The UW Commuter Guru program is celebrating its first year anniversary. The goal of the program is to identify campus community members who share an enthusiasm for UW commuting options and who are willing to help spread the word with others on campus. You are each invited to join this developing program.
As a Commuter Guru you are not expected to become a know-it-all about commuting (unless that is your passion, of course). Rather, we make sure Commuter Gurus know how to find the resources needed to answer campus transportation questions. Gurus help themselves and their coworkers make smart commute choices by using all the commuter information available.
As a UW Commuter Guru, you will receive:
- Periodic emails with announcements and alerts
- An invitation to quarterly welcome meetings that feature an interesting commuting topic.
- A packet of all of the available commuting publications, and
- A Publications order form so that you can get extra copies of any of our publications for your coworkers, students, and others as they are needed-all at no cost to you.
