Quiz Tests Your Knowledge of What's Green at UW

What do you know about what’s green at the UW? The good folks at Facilities Services have devised a devilishly tricky quiz to measure your awareness of the UW’s conservation efforts. Be forewarned. You’re going to have to think in some pretty big numbers to count the kilowatts of power and gallons of water saved by innovative hardware and practices on campus buildings and grounds. (One senior manager was heard to remark “Wow! That’s a lot of water,” while he took the quiz.) Take the quiz yourself. You’ll be surprised by the number of people who are getting to campus without a car, you’ll add some items to your list of things to recycle, and you may learn something you didn’t know about ‘green building’ standards. Ten little questions. Ten minutes or less to find out how you rate from a green genius to someone with some work to do to get green. And the best part is the links are all there for you to find out more. You can’t take the quiz without learning something new.

Take the Quiz now.
