Night Ride
The Night Ride
is an evening van service that picks up students, faculty and staff on
campus and delivers them to their destination in nearby neighborhoods.
The service is provided nine months of the year (autumn through spring
quarters) and is operated by a private vendor on contract to the University.
Participation remained relatively steady for the 1998-99 school year.
More than 38,100 rides were taken on the Night Ride, an increase of 61
percent from the first year it was implemented. The average cost
per rider has decreased by 32 percent for the same period.
