Individual Commuter Tickets
Discount daily parking passes, called Individual
Commuter Tickets, are available to faculty and staff U-PASS participants
for $1.75 each. Faculty and staff without a U-PASS can also purchase the
passes for $3.00 per ticket. The parking passes allow users to park on
campus up to twice a week without having to pay full parking rates ($6.00).
In 1998-99, 122,961 U-PASS parking passes and 42,940 non-U-PASS parking
passes were sold, averaging approximately 630 tickets used per business
day. This number is well below the twice per week maximum allowed per user.
This feature of the program has been an important incentive for employees
to turn in their parking permits and try the U-PASS.
