Bicycling
Since the start of the U-PASS program, more than $600,000 has been spent
for improved bicycle
facilities and programs. The UW has more than 730 bicycle racks with
a capacity of 5,826 bikes. The UW also rents bike locker spaces for a $50
annual fee. Since the U-PASS program began, 346 bike lockers have
been installed at locations around campus. The 1998 survey reported
that 6 percent of those commuting to the UW do so by bicycle. |
