Permanent faculty/staff purchasing procedures
To purchase a quarterly or annual single occupancy vehicle (SOV) or a motorcycle parking permit bring your current Husky Card TM [UW ID card] to either Parking Services office and fill out the permit application form. Permits and U-PASSes cannot be purchased via mail.
In order to complete the application, be sure you know the following information that applies to your situation:
- your EIN (employee ID number)
- your driver's license number
- the vehicle(s) license plate number, make and year
- your campus phone number and box number
- the name of building in which you work
- for payroll deduction participants: the budget number from which you are paid.
Payroll deduction participants must have a permanent staff appointment from a state budget to participate in the deduction program.
Quarterly permits may be purchased by cash, check, Visa/Mastercard or the Husky CardTM Account only. Annual permits may be purchased by cash, check, the Husky CardTM Account or payroll deduction. For fee information click here.
Eligible faculty and staff (those on the regular UW payroll; not paid via grants, contracts, etc.) may participate in the payroll deduction program. Payroll deduction involves an automatic debit from your bimonthly paycheck. Payroll deduction participants who do not receive a bimonthly paycheck throughout the year will have their permit fees collected once their paychecks are resumed. A one-time, catch-up deduction will be made by Parking Services. For details about payroll deduction, call (206) 543-0618.
Parking Services automatically sends faculty and staff on the payroll deduction program an annual renewal notice each April. Permits cannot be issued if you have outstanding UW parking violations.
