CARPOOL PARKING PERMIT

The Carpool Permit is a cost-saving parking option for two or more UW employees or one UW employee and one or more students who drive together at least three days per week. Eligibility requires that each carpool member purchase a U-PASS. The U-PASS makes it convenient for carpoolers to ride the bus on the days when they are not driving in together. The carpool driver (must be an employee) and rider(s) are designated at the time of purchase. Employees registered as rider(s) of the carpool are eligible to purchase Individual Commuter Tickets for parking no more than two days per week on the days when they do not ride the bus.

Academic Student Employees (ASEs) Carpool Information

To find out more about occasional (impromptu) carpooling options for employees and students go to http://www.washington.edu/commuterservices/get_to_uw/employees/carpool.php

If you need help forming or joining a carpool, go to Ridematch. Do you need an incentive to add another rider to fill a carpool? Consider this: Carpools receive priority parking. Contact the Rideshare Hotline at 1.888.814.1300 or go online at www.rideshareonline.com for additional assistance.
