N28 Parking Garage Information

GARAGE AND BUILDING ACCESS HOURS

Garage doors are open:	7 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday - Friday only, excluding UW holidays
Garage access allowed:	24 hours per day, 7 days per week
4545 Building access allowed:	6 a.m. - 10 p.m., Monday - Friday only, excluding UW holidays

IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT PARKING

• The N28 parking garage is owned by the University of Washington. Rules relating to parking in N28 are determined by UW Commuter Services.
• Enforcement for level A is managed by the University District Parking Association (UDPA).
• Enforcement for levels B through G is managed by UW Parking Enforcement.
• N28 UW permit holders may park on levels B through G. Signage notes the garage levels.
• After 6 p.m. on weekdays and at all times on weekends, N28 UW permit holders are asked to park only on levels F and G, per UW's agreement with University Presbyterian Church.
• Out of area permits issued at campus gatehouses for lots N1 – N5 are not available to N28 permit holders.
• Please notify Permit Issuance (206-221-3701) immediately if your N28 permit is lost or stolen.

IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT GARAGE AND BUILDING ACCESS

The UW Computing and Communications (C&C) offices in the 4545 Building are in a highly secured area. Garage and building security regulations are enforced by C&C's Access Control Group. Please note that failure to comply with the regulations outlined below could result in suspension of building access rights:

• Your N28 Access Card allows access to the 4545 Building only during limited hours and only at specific entrances. The hours of access are noted above. The card readers for building access are marked in green on the diagrams below. (Please note that there are only two readers inside the 4545 Building that may be used, both located on the ground floor. Also, each level of the garage has only one reader for building access, located at the southeast corner, nearest to 15th Avenue.)
• Your N28 Access Card allows garage entry 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, via the two entrances marked in red on the diagram below. The first entrance is the vehicle entrance ramp. The second entrance is a pedestrian gate adjacent to the vehicle exit ramp.
• Pedestrians needing to enter or exit the garage outside of authorized building hours should use the pedestrian gate adjacent to the vehicle exit ramp.
• Please notify Permit Issuance (206-221-3701) immediately if your N28 Access Card is lost or stolen.
• When relocating to a different lot or separating from UW your N28 Access Card must be returned to Commuter Services along with your permit and/or U-PASS.

IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT BUILDING SECURITY AND YOUR SAFETY

• Do not allow anyone without an N28 Access Card or a C&C Security Badge into the building.
• Do not allow another person to use your N28 Access Card.
• Any door you pass through must be closed securely.
• Do not prop open any doors.
• Attempts to access secure areas will generate silent alarms that will be documented for auditing purposes.
• Repeated failure to comply with building access restrictions will result in loss of building access privileges.
• Attempts to access areas of the building other than those explicitly outlined in this document could result in immediate loss of building access privileges.
• Attempts to access the 4545 Building at times other than those explicitly noted above could result in immediate loss of building access privileges.
