Directions to the UW Visitors Information Center, coming from the south via I-5 northbound

A printable campus map (pdf file) is available.

From I-5 northbound, take the NE 45th Street exit (#169). Turn right onto NE 45th Street. Continue east about one quarter mile to 15th Avenue NE and turn right. Head south on 15th Avenue three blocks to NE 41st Street. Turn left at Gate #1 into the Central Plaza Garage. (Wayfinding map for the Central Plaza Garage.) The Visitors Information Center is inside the Odegaard Undergraduate Library, First Floor. Stop at the gatehouse inside the garage for directions and a parking permit.

However, there is additional parking in one of several west campus lots [W2, W4, W6, W12, and W14] where a "pay and display" machine is available. These areas are for parking after 4 p.m. weekdays and on Saturday mornings. All the lot machines accept $1 bills and coins, but do not give change. The night parking fee in those lots is $3, tax included.

Disability parking

Persons who are mobility impaired should self-identify at any gatehouse when entering campus. They will be assigned parking in a disability parking area as close to their destination as possible.
