There's more than one way to get here - The University of Washington encourages you to join our efforts to improve traffic conditions and to protect the environment. Please consider using an alternative to driving alone to get to any campus event. For more information on taking a bus to the UW, click here.

Where Can I Park?

If you plan to attend a special event at Meany Theatre or Kane Hall in the evening, the closest parking is in the Central Plaza Garage, located underground at 15th Ave NE and NE 41st St. Evening event parking in the Central Plaza Garage costs $8.00 ($6.00 for a carpool of 3 or more). However, there is also additional parking in several west campus lots [W2, W4, W6, W12, and W14] where pay stations are available. These areas are for parking after 4 p.m. weekdays and on Saturday mornings. The pay stations accept $1 bills and coins, but do not give change. Parking in these lots is $5 (sales and city parking taxes included).

Disability Parking

Persons who are mobility-impaired should self-identify at any gatehouse when entering campus for assigned parking in a disability parking area as close to their destination as possible.

Bus Parking is Available On Campus

Tour, charter and school buses are to park in a specified location on campus. This map shows the preferred route and parking for buses. Call the UW Police at 206-543-9337 for information.
