Find drivers or riders for your COMMUTE
Ask around. Almost every UW commuter has someone living nearby who also commutes to campus. With nearly 57,000 students, staff and faculty traveling to campus everyday, even those with unusual schedules can find someone to share the ride.Often friends and colleagues live near you and would like to share the ride from your neighborhood or meet at a Park & Ride. If you still can’t find anyone, then sign up with the regional Ridematch system.
Getting started

- Use AlterNetRides online ride match
- Contact the Rideshare hotline at 1.888.814.1300.
- See List of Vanpools coming to Seattle Campus , and check first row for vanpools currently seeking riders.
- Call the Transportation Office at 206.543.0450.
If you submit an application, you will be sent the names, phone numbers and a map showing the location of people near you who are interested in carpooling or vanpooling to campus. Simply call the people on your list and make the arrangements.
