UW in Seattle Neighborhoods

Seattle has been called a "City of Neighborhoods", some large and some small, places where a certain style defines an area more than an actual boundary. For 150 years, longer than Seattle has been a city, the University of Washington has been helping to shape the places Seattleites call home, designing buildings and landmarks, improving the fabric of health and social services, advancing the economy, and, of course, educating Seattle's citizens and future leaders. This web portal is an effort to collect these efforts throughout the greater City of Seattle region using geographic areas developed by the Department of Neighborhoods. "UW in Seattle Neighborhoods" will continue to evolve over time, and the Office of Regional & Community Relations invites your help. Please email your suggestions to regional@uw.edu or send mail to UW Regional & Community Relations, Box 351243, Seattle, WA 98195-1243.
