UW to Host Unemployed Nation Hearings

By Kathleen Dannenhold

What does it mean to be one of the 22 million Americans – numbers not seen since the Great Depression – who are either jobless, underemployed in part-time jobs, or discouraged and no longer looking for work? Unemployed Nation is looking for people willing to tell their stories at hearings in Kane Hall on campus on March 30, or at Seattle City Hall downtown on March 31. Volunteer online or by callingĀ 206-543-7946.
