Occupational and Genetic Risk Factors for Inhibition of Cholinesterase in Agricultural Workers

The overall goal of this research project is to reduce
overexposure to cholinesterase (ChE)-inhibiting pesticides among
agricultural pesticide handlers.  This will be achieved by identifying
risk factors associated with inhibited ChE levels among participants
in the Washington State ChE monitoring program and incorporating this
information into preventive practice and training of workers at
risk.
