Connecting Community: Public Transit and Public Discourse

I will be using this equipment to complete my CHID senior
thesis.  For my thesis I will be looking at spaces where community
takes place such as churches, farmers markets, festivals, community
centers,etc. and then mapping those spaces on google maps.  I will be
using photography to capture those spaces and instances where and when
community happens and to illustrate my maps.  This mapping and
photography will work together along with a written work in a
discussion of how public transit functions in Seattle, specifically
how Seattle public transit can be improved to better facilitate
community interaction and foster a public discourse essential for a
functioning democracy.
