Greek Fires Documentary
A group of 14 UW students went to Greece over the Spring to shoot a documentary about the aftermath of the Great Greek Fires of 2007 when 2.3% of the land surface of Greece was burned. Students interviewed farmers, government officials, journalists, laborers, vetenerians, etc., to get a fuller picture of the tragedy. Over 130 hours of footage was shot. Students got behind the scenes and followed real stories of real people who suffered tragically in the fires.
