Grammatical variation in the Zuozhuan

I am working on a text-based project on Syntactic variation
in a Classical Chinese text, the Zuozhuan, or the Zuo Commentary to
the Spring and Autumn Annals. The project aims at finding syntactic
clues to date the different portions of the text,and to compare them
with the syntactic features of contemporary manuscript texts. I will
be scanning some large format material. This project is a prosecution
of my former project on the manuscript versions of the Dao Dejing I
have been working on with Professor Stacy Waters since last fall
quarter (DXARTS 411), and it is part of the work towards my PhD
dissertation.
