Mixing Audiovision
As visual artists, Mixing Audiovision is our exploratory foray across disciplines into the world of sound. We plan to record a small library of sound bites using CARTAH equipment, record abstract video segments on our own cameras, then, in post-processing, to experiment with the manipulation and interaction of our found media using realtime veejay software. This project is a component of the CHID 496 D course, which focuses on the procedural and perceptual relationships between sound and image.
