An electronic version of an Ottoman text by Gufti, the 17th century Ottoman poet

This project is being undertaken with Walter Andrews and
Stacy Waters, who has developed a system of converting Ottoman texts
for display on the internet. In addition, the project will include an
XML tagging scheme to make the text useful for other purpoeses
including automated text analysis. The first stage of the project
through September will focus on character set in scripting
issues.
