Turkish Parliamentary Discourse

This project is a continuation of research previously carried
out for an MA thesis, where contemporary transcripts from the Turkish
Grand National Assembly were analyzed manually for the distribution of
key phrasal items.* At this stage, the feasibility of converting
Turkish printed transcripts into digital texts for computer analysis
of a larger corpus will be investigated. If such conversion is
feasible, the next stage will be to test various textual analysis
software on the texts.
