Salsa Moves: A Salsa Dance History Project

As part of a book project on salsa dance history, Professor
McMains is conducting interviews with individuals who have
participated in salsa as dancers, teachers, performers, musicians, or
promoters over an extended period of time.  Most interviewees live in
New York, Puerto Rico, Los Angeles, South Florida, or Cuba, and many
are in their seventies or eighties.  Over twenty interviews have been
conducted and another twenty are planned.
