Multimedia CD/DVD adjunct for book

I am in the final stages of preparation of a book manuscript
entitled A Zapotec Natural History. The plan involves the normal book
manuscript text supplemented by a CD/DVD/website to include extensive
data summaries and analyses in text format plus over 300 digital
color images. I need help designing the CD/DVD for maximal
accessibility and utility for the reader.
