ANTH 209: The Visual Ethnography of Burning
A team of undergraduate students from the University of Washington will explore, through ethnographic film, the subculture of people who 'burn'. Burning includes various forms of fire manipulation/artistry like fire 'spinning' and fire 'breathing'. This project is in accordance with the requirements of Professor Green's ANTH 209:Visual Anthropology class. The film intends to be a short, 8 minute, documentry film using local fire artists.
