Finland's Pasts & Presents

We would like to digitize an audio recording of a lecture, and
integrate rare archival footage of Finnish television from the 1950's.

The audio and video will be combined in SMIL-based multimedia
presentations, authored within both the QuickTime and RealVideo
frameworks, to be streamed from C&C-provided servers.

The length of the video clips falls under generally-accepted notions of
fair use (quoting for the purposes of commentary and critique) and the
television programs are additionally out of copyright.
