Japanese Cinema

I am teaching a class on Japanese Cinema in Spring.  I need to
generate a collection of slide stills taken from selected films.  I also
want to generate a DVD of selected scenes from these films to show in
class.  No advanced editing or subtitling will be required, just
capturing.
