SIFF VIDEOGRAPHY

During the
Seattle International Film Festival, a group of UW students (Aubrey
Benasa, Ruben Romero, Colin Schroder, and myself)will document through the
medium of digital video all major events.  This will enable us to build on
our experience with camera work gained in either DXARTS or Photography
courses. Events will include but are not limited to:  the Opening,
Mid-Festival, and Closing Night Galas; An Evening with John Waters; and
Festival Forums (Talking Pictures, Filmmakers Forum, and Screenwriters
Salon).  Professor Jennifer Bean of the Cinema Studies Department will be
our academic advisor.

Note: Mark Haslam knows of this project and may assist in any questions
that may arise during the approval granting process.
