Still life

'Still life' is a multimedia installation/performance.  In its
initial stages, the performance will be presented as a duet with
dancers/co-choreographers Chalie Livingston and Aiko Kinoshita at Velocity
Mainspace theater.  The essential goal of using video with live
performance is to create immersive environments for the dance, the
environments primarily differing in their context of time and experienced
time from aggressive moment-to-moment 'marathons' to sustained moments
both descriptive of sustained energy and indeterminate ends.  The
structure of the installation/performance will be a non-linear video with
a non-linear dance to create a stimulating environment of visual design
for the audience.
