the hip

'the hip' is a formalist look at dance. using text and looped
imagery, 'the hip' explores movement, the male gaze, and the false sense
of authority surrounding the medium of video. 'the hip' is a colaborative
piece with dancers/choregraphers/teachers Maria Simpson and Peter Schmitz.
