Creating a digital image archive of musical sources

We woudl like to create a digital archive of images of musical
manuscripts and other early sources for reference in research and advanced
coursework.  We plan to photograph the images and to store them on CDs.  
In Autumn 2002, I have a research assistant, Steven Thursby, who will be
working on this.
