Community Engaged Leaders & Scholars (CELS) provides UW undergraduate students with a structured opportunity to explore leadership through service and community engagement. Designed to develop a range of knowledge, skills, and aptitudes, this program guides students through focused workdshops, courses, and community events; connects students with civic leaders, social impact organizations, and builds a network of people interested in community empowerment.
This leadership development program is supported by the Carlson Leadership & Public Service Center, Jumpstart, and the Pipeline Project – community engagement programs located within the Center for Experiential Learning & Diversity (EXPD).
Additional details about the program (orientation dates, applications, expectations, etc.) will be available in early September.
