Position description:

Let’s get Dr. Kim Schrier in Congress! Kim is the Democratic frontrunner in a toss-up district that could determine control of the House in 2018. Her story is a great example of the wave of women getting into politics this year – she’s a pediatrician who never thought of running for office until the 2016 election, when she started to speak up and go to rallies. She met with GOP Rep. Dave Reichert’s staff to tell them how Trumpcare would hurt his district. Two days later he voted for it in committee. That’s when she decided to run for his seat. She’s already received endorsements from EMILY’s List, Indivisible, and major WA labor groups.
