Duwamish Alive! Longfellow Creek Spring Event

DESCRIPTION

Join the King Conservation District and members of your community as we work to improve the Brandon Street Natural Area urban forest adjacent to Longfellow Creek in West Seattle! Longfellow Creek has a fall salmon run that is greatly impacted by urban stormwater runoff. Help reduce runoff by planting native trees and removing invasive plant species. Continue the legacy of restoration at this site and improve the forest for wildlife and water quality!

Duwamish Alive! is a semi-annual restoration event that brings together organizations and community members for a day of restoration events across the Duwamish River and tributaries. Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers for a fun day of volunteering outdoors!
