20 hour Internship for a student interested in ESL to assist in judging an Essay Contest

Native English Institute (NEI) and MOOCV.ru co-sponsored an essay contest for English language learners and teachers of English from Russia.

An intern is needed to read and judge the 100 essays received.  (Essays vary in length from one paragraph to three pages.)

Project includes:

1. Organizing entries electronically into folders

· Separating student and teacher essays

· Organizing student essays by age groups

2. Reading entries and ranking based on provided criteria.

Essays do not require correction or feedback. Total time for this project will be approximately 20 hours. Project to be completed by January 20th, 2017. Intern may work remotely or at NEI’s office on Capitol Hill in Seattle.

This is a great opportunity to gain work experience and a recommendation on LinkedIn. We will acknowledge you by name and thank you for your contribution in our announcement of contest winners on social media. The internship is unpaid, but if we like your work, this could lead to a part-time job with NEI.
