Following repairs made to the Wi-Fi system yesterday afterno
on the Wi-Fi system has remained stable for buildings on the main Seattle campus
.

Engineers are continuing to investigate issues in the 4545 Building an
d UW-Tower (and buildings nearby) that are affecting a small number of clients.

  Actions have been taken to address the random Wi-Fi problems and
the system now appears to be stable.

UW-IT will continue to monitor the
system. Unless the system instability returns in the meantime, the next update
will be at noon on Friday Sept. 30th.

UW-IT has received reports of users experiencing intermittent co
nnectivity issues with our Wi-Fi service.   The problem is wide spread impacting
users across campus.  Wi-Fi engineers believe they have identified root cause a
nd are actively working on a solution.
