Cable Television

Cable television service is generally available in the campus UW Housing and UW Medical Center patient rooms. Service at other campus locations is provided on an individual case basis and is subject to available facilities.

HuskyTV is a Satellite Master Antenna (SMA) television service operated by UW Technology. It offers similar programming to commercial services, as well as additional educational programming. HuskyTV is not available for use in public viewing venues. There is a monthly service fee per connection.

Departmental users are responsible for installation and facilities costs for cable television service. Service is subject to availability of facilities. Most campus buildings are not currently wired for cable television service; therefore, installation costs can be prohibitive.
