Update Your Security Code

You can change the security code for your softphone by following these directions from your real desk phone:

  1. Press *94
  2. Listen for dial tone.
  3. Enter your 5 digit phone number.
  4. Press #
  5. Enter your old security code.
  6. Press #
  7. Listen for dial tone.
  8. Enter your new security code.
  9. Press #
  10. Listen for dial tone.
  11. Re-enter your new security code.
  12. Press #
  13. Listen for confirmation and dial tone.

If you hear the high-low error tone at any point, the system has rejected your entry.

Please note that your telephone line must be assigned a personal security code in order to use the PBX Remote Access Forwarding feature.
