Two-Way Radio

Two-way radio service is available on the UW campuses. While the UW Technology Service Center can help arrange acquisition or licensing, campus radio systems are generally owned and operated by user departments. Currently, the two main systems in use on campus are operated by Physical Plant and the UW Police Department. Individual departments are responsible for operating their radio systems in compliance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations.
