Habitat: Ponds, lakes, slow streams.
Diet: Herbivore.
Habitats: Aquatic, builds dams and lodges.
Identification: Largest rodent in North America, flat scaly tail. Total length: 90-115 cm; tail: 30-45 cm; mass: 20-27 kg.
