Construction is now complete on the museum's Special Exhibit Gallery which was expanded from 1,750 to 3,800 square feet—doubling the space available for traveling exhibits and Burke Museum displays.

Expansion of Special Exhibits Gallery

Thanks to funding from Washington State, 4 Culture, and a major private donor, the museum completed work nearly doubling the size of its Special Exhibits Gallery.

An enlarged gallery enables the museum to host a broader range of traveling exhibits and put more of the museum's own collections on display.
