Two days of art, crafts, dancing, and storytelling with some of the region’s premier Native American artists.

Artists Demonstrations – carving, drum making, weaving, and kayak building with some of the regions most renowned artists. Talk to Coast Salish carvers Bruce Cook and Jordon Seward, two Northwest carving masters and many more.

Nuu-Cha-Nulth carver George David demonstrates traditional drum making.

Storytelling,  11 am and 2 pm – Saturday expert storyteller Johnny Moses, of the Tulalip tribe.  Sunday The acclaimed Roger Fernandes of the Lower Elwha band of the Klallam tribe. Stories that share the richness of Native cultural traditions.

Traditional Dance,  1 pm  –  On Saturday, enjoy a performance by the Haida Heritage Dancers, a group using only traditional hand-made regalia, masks, skin, and box drums to perform their songs and dances. Sunday the Northern Star Dancers perform Tlingit, Tsimpshian, and Haida songs passed down to their group leader Margie Morris (Kiks'adi Tlingit) by her cultural teacher and mentor Pete Barril.

Traditional Arts and Crafts Sale – the Native American Arts Celebration provides visitors with an opportunity to browse and purchase arts and crafts products from over a dozen Native American artisans.
