What is Burke 101? Each quarter students enrolled in a particular subject course have the opportunity to co-enroll in a teaching course at the Burke Museum. As part of their coursework, students interact with museum visitors in the galleries on selected weekends and weekdays. The teaching course is usually 3 credits, and is graded as credit/no credit. Current course and how to register: Spring quarter 2009 Teaching and Learning about the Anthropology of Drugs and Money. Meets M, W 3:30 – 5 pm. Students will design and present an after hours event to UW students at the Museum. Open to students who have taken any of the following: ANTH 100, ANTH 101, ARCHY 105, ARCHY 205. See UW time schedule for more information. Teaching and Learning about Coffee. Meets T, TH 3:30-5 pm. Students will design and present activities for visitors to the Coffee: The World in Your Cup Exhibit at the Burke Museum.
